CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Mom Baby (6 weeks to crawlers – Crawlers to Walkers):
Mom gets out of the house, doesn’t need a babysitter and have to be concerned if their baby cries, needs feeding, changing, and talking to other moms experiencing the same things… it is all good here. Mom gets a workout and baby starts developing the stretching and core building to help with sitting up, crawling, standing, walking with lots of smiling and play.
Parent & Child (Walkers to 3 years)
Now that they are walking there is a lot of chasing going on. Let them crawl, play and stretch while doing lots of partner poses to introduce your little one to yoga and get some practice time for yourself while meeting other parents and kids.
Community Class (all who are interested in yoga)
For everyone who has been curious about yoga and was afraid to try… intro to poses, breathing for fun, stories and partner activities to get to know your neighbors.
3 to 4 year olds / 4 to 6 year olds
Playing, fun, poses, breathing, stretching, teamwork and more fun...
7 to 9 year olds / 10 to 12 year olds
More poses to develop more of a practice for your yogini while still have lots of funs and spending time with other like-minded kids
Sports Yoga
For the boys… and a lot of the girls. Yoga poses and games all sports themed and designed to help improve skills in all sports (baseball, basketball, soccer) and to prevent injury.
Teens
A place to relax, stretch, talk about life, put it all in perspective with some great poses, development of a yoga practice, meditations, just chilling out with friends.
Pre-Natal
For the Mom to be. Stretch, strengthen, loosen up and take care of yourself while discussing all you are going through and the big event to come.
Meditation & Yoga for Children with Special Needs (and their families)
Yoga and Meditation is being used all over the world to help children with Asthma and all other breathing issues. ‘Breathing is Fun’ helps children to work on their breathing techniques and meditation to prevent excited breathing incidences.
Classes include: Yoga Games, Intro to Yoga Poses, Breathing is Fun, Musical ‘La La YoGa’, Sports Yoga for Young Athletes, Stretching, Strengthening, Chilling out. |
